Owner, homewares shop · Ari, Bangkok
I was sceptical about hiring a consultant for a shop our size. The floor session was not what I expected — Krit spent the whole morning watching how customers moved, where they slowed down, where they left without buying. The improvement list was straightforward and we started working through it the following week. The section on our checkout area was particularly helpful.

Owner, two clothing boutiques · Thonglor
We did the Operations Project across both stores over about five weeks. Having written operating guidelines has genuinely changed how we onboard new staff — before this, it was all passed on verbally and we'd notice inconsistencies between the two branches. The training outline is already in use. I would have liked slightly more depth on stock handling, but overall a useful engagement.

The floor session was direct and honest. Pinepath pointed out things I had stopped noticing — the way one display blocked the view of our best-selling category, and a service habit that was confusing customers at the till. Nothing complicated to fix, but I hadn't seen it myself. Good value for a half-day's work.

I came in thinking mostly about display, but the session covered more ground than I expected. The written summary gave me a clear picture of what was working and what was not, separated by area of the store. I have referred back to it several times in the three weeks since.

We are exploring what a fourth location would look like and started the Franchise Readiness Advisory earlier this year. The sessions have been practical — we spend time looking at how each of our current branches does things differently, and why. The written guidance after each session accumulates into something genuinely useful for planning.

Owner, hardware and tools shop · Min Buri
My concern was whether they would understand a hardware shop — the mix of trade customers and walk-in buyers is quite specific. They did. The improvement list focused on things that actually affect my type of customer, not generic retail suggestions. I can tell the person doing the review had spent time in trade retail before.

Two Store Stories
Challenge
Two-branch boutique, inconsistent customer experience
A clothing retailer with two Thonglor branches noticed that customers were commenting that the shops felt different — even though the product range was the same. Staff handled service differently at each location, and there was no shared reference point for new hires.
Solution
Store Operations Project across both locations
Over six weeks, we worked with the owner and team at both branches — observing service patterns, discussing the differences, and documenting a shared operating standard. The training outline gave the owner a structured way to bring new staff to the same baseline from day one.
Outcome
Consistent routines, shorter onboarding
Within two months of implementing the operating guidelines, the owner reported that new staff were reaching independent service standards in roughly half the time compared to before. Customer-facing inconsistencies between branches dropped noticeably.
"Having it written down changed everything. Now there's a document to point to, not just a conversation."
Challenge
Independent food retailer, planning for a fourth location
An owner of three Bangkok food retail branches had been approached about opening a fourth. She wanted to understand whether her existing operation was consistent enough to replicate — and where the gaps were before taking that step.
Solution
Franchise Readiness Advisory engagement
Through regular advisory sessions, we mapped the operational routines across all three existing branches, identified where they were consistent and where they diverged, and began building written documentation of what the model actually involves day-to-day.
Outcome
A clearer picture before a major decision
After four months of advisory sessions, the owner had documented routines for all core operational areas, a clearer view of two branches that were running well and one that needed attention before any expansion, and practical guidance on what to prioritise.
"I hadn't realised how much of what makes my business work was in my head and not written anywhere. Now I can see it."
